課程概述

The skills of communication of the professional matters and research materials to the other engineering professionals and/or general publics are often required for a qualified engineer in addition to the professional ability. The Geotechnical Seminar provides a forum to nurture such skills and abilities. The course contents include invited lectures of specific topics and oral presentation of the thesis research status of the second year Master and PhD students. 

課程目標
 The objective of Seminar on Geotechnical Engineering is to provide a venue for training of the abilities for organization and presentation of professional materials, oral presentation, and being a proper presenter.  
課程要求
 1. For presenting students
(1) 1~2-pages summary lecture report for lectures each week
(2) Class participation and performance
(3) Abstract, ppt file and Q/A sheets (for presentation)
2. For non-presenting students
(1) 1~2-pages summary lecture report for lectures each week
(2) Class participation and performance
(3) One final report on selected topic related your research topics
